Recurring reports, delivered.

SheetRelay builds your recurring spreadsheet report from the data you already have, then emails it on the schedule you already follow.

One report to start. We set the first one up with you.

The pipeline

  • SourceA read-only query, export, or file.
  • ShapeOne agreed template per report.
  • Scheduled emailRebuilt and delivered on a cadence.

The work

The same report, rebuilt by hand, over and over.

Three situations people described in public, paraphrased and left unattributed. They are the shape of the problem. They are not our customers.

Daily

The same report, rebuilt every morning

A query runs against a database, the result gets shaped by hand in a spreadsheet, and the file goes out by email. The automation is partly owned already. The last stretch is still manual, and it starts the day behind.

Three times a day

Ten reports pasted into ten tabs

Downloads are scraped, opened, and copied into their own tabs. It holds until a page changes, and then a morning goes into repair.

Weekly

A client report assembled from exports

Ad-platform CSVs are cleaned, charted, and reassembled by hand into something a client will read. The tool that was meant to replace the work is gone.

How it works

Three steps, then it repeats.

Nothing here needs a developer. If you can describe the report, you can start one.

Connect a source

A read-only connection to data you already have: a query result, a spreadsheet export, or a file that lands in a folder. Read-only means SheetRelay never writes back.

Agree the shape

You and we settle what the report looks like once. Columns, order, the tabs it needs. No formulas for you to keep alive.

It runs on a schedule

The report is rebuilt and emailed on the cadence you already follow. A failed run sends an alert instead of an empty file.

One report, set up with you

The pilot starts with a single report and a working session where we build it together. When it is running, you have a report you no longer rebuild.

Fit

The tools exist. The fit is the hard part.

All of these are capable. The question is whether each one is the right shape for a single recurring report that has to land in an inbox.

This compares fit, not features. Prices and limits are left out on purpose.

FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

What format does the report come in?

CSV first. Every spreadsheet tool opens it, and one file per tab keeps the shape intact. Native .xlsx output is planned, not built.

Does SheetRelay write to my systems?

No. Access is read-only by design, and a connection that is not read-only is refused.

What runs the schedule?

The operating system scheduler on a machine that is switched on. The computer running the report has to be awake when the run is due.

What happens when a run fails?

You get an alert email rather than an empty report. The failure is logged with its reason and the next run tries again.

How much setup is there on my side?

One session to agree the report. After that, nothing routine.

Can I stop?

Yes. Cancel any time.

Stop rebuilding the report.
